Ooooooh! That is a righteous bump.B) As many of you know, I have been in the process of moving to Paris. I absolutely love it, but my scanners and my main computer have been delayed. This board is absolutely too much fun not to participate, and I look forward to getting involved again at the earliest opportunity. In the meantime..... WOW!

i really wnated to do this one but i didnt know how to start the drawing... i then came across this thread about Tom Ford's parfum Black Orchid and wondered how would an actual black orchid look and smell like...

here's the result: a black orchid by Gareth Pugh
(i wish i had more time to work on it and i knew how to make my photoshop work )

Ahhh I apologise for my lateness in choosing a winner! For some strange reason i thought that this thread was no longer running... just me being stupid i suppose! Well here we go.......

Yogini- Great illustration, I really like its simplicity and linear attention and it kinda has a japanese edge to it!

Mirrra- Absolutely fantastic! I have been studying op-art recently and I find this very inspiring!

MUXU- A different approach to the others but I like it very much so, it really shows of the geometric patterns.

Borjacapella- Brilliant idea! A completely new take on it and I like it. Its surprisingly representational!

Titania- This is great! It looks like a birds eye view of an island or a big city! Very interesting!

Urd- A more classic approach and why not eh! Very well executed and does the piece justice!



Ooooooooooo I think the winner is going to be.............
