Emi....that reminds me of that awful dress Macy Gray wore to promote her album, that had the countdown written across it to when it was going to be released....
because I liked your drawing from the first time I saw it...it's just so precise, proportioned and CUTE!...
( Kerry: I like your photo/collage/presentation...) Shuguru: Explosive colors...normally I don't like the "fashion" kind of illustrations but this is really interesting and good with the mix of different kind of pencils...But she looks so S A D... Mirra: I always your illustrations but this time a bit less...I think your choice of colors are a bit too dark for that picture! Soscalls: Nice paper and use of neon markers, make me think of the good old days in school...The expression of the model is lovely... GBArt: Maybe you sent in the wrong drawing...?cos I cant see any similarities between your drawing and the original picture...but it's still so sweet and tiny and transparent...)
wow, thanks !
i am quite surprised, i thought mine was so "quiet" for the HoH look. I liked the colourful others a lot, including yours, emi25. Soscalls, i was also reminded of drawing away during school hours with yours - i like the typography as a background.
Ok, next one: Givenchy Fall 2006

emi25 - i like your drawings a lot, they look so professional , but especially i love your line. It's very cool that you organized the layout of the drawing like a magazine page, as you did with the Chloé drawings you posted in the other thread.
Hana_N - i like the blotty and sketchy lines, this style reminds me of fashion illustrations of the 40s.
titania - the outfit and mariacarla'S face look very 20s here, powerful and androgynous.I like how these few but well-rendered shapes convey the whole outfit.
Eline - interesting contrast of the penciled-out parts, which look velvet-y and the loose felt tip pen - latter one I prefer
the winner is....
Hana_N i guess i fell in love with the vintage feel of your drawing. congratulalions and have fun choosing the next picture for us!
