New Zealand's latest modelling superstar is in a RUSSH to the top

New Zealand is really coming up with stars at the moment – as we noted earlier this month.

From Jessica Clarke to Emily Baker, Holly Rose Emery and of course, Ashleigh Good, the 21 year-old British-born, New Zealand-raised model who was scouted at an Auckland bus stop in November 2011 and this year became an advertising face of, among others, Chanel, Max Mara, Burberry Black Label and Topshop.

Although the New Zealand media proclaims rather excitedly today that she has also scored “countless covers of Harpers Bazaar, Vogue Australia, Italia and Germany”, only the May 2013 cover of Numéro Russia is currently listed on her models.com profile under 'magazine covers'. To be sure, she has appeared in editorial within Harpers Bazaar Australia, as well as Vogue Germany and even the cover of Vogue Italia’s beauty supplement earlier this year, which is of course all highly prestigious. But Frockwriter can reveal what we understand is Good's second actual newsstand cover: the August/September edition of RUSSH Australia. Cover supplied directly to Frockwriter by RUSSH.

Shot by Alex Franco, it’s part of a cover story that co-stars Denmark’s Sylvester Ulv Henriksen.

The issue, which hits newsstands on August 5, also includes editorials starring Agnes Nabuurs (shot by Ward Ivan Rafik), Chloe Norgaard (Tung Walsh) and Leila Goldkuhl (James Nelson), with other features covering Giorgio Moroder, Phillip Lim, Roxanne Lowit, Toni Maticevski, Midnight Juggernauts and Max Snow.

I'm not a huge fan of Ashleigh here, she looks anxious and her hands look like she's keeping herself from hitting her face, strange. But I do love the black & white color scheme.
