It has almost been a year since they tied the knot in South Carolina in a lavish ceremony.
And married life is certainly suiting Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds, judging by new photographs of the couple at their home in Bedford New York.
Ryan kept himself busy, sporting gloves to lift several items off a truck including what looked like a large garden umbrella and a hammock.
Ready for some heavy lifting duties, Ryan wore beige trousers, a green T-shirt and brown boots.
But he also made time for some relaxation, later taking to a motorbike to zoom around the lawn.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Celebrate First Anniversary Southern-Style

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary on Monday with a down-home feast that reminded them of their Southern-themed nuptials.

The couple, who wed at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., on Sept. 9 last year, were spotted in nearby Charleston over the weekend before moving on to Savannah, Ga. – where they stopped for lunch at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room.

"They were absolutely darling," Marcia Thompson, owner of the historic, all-you-can-eat restaurant, tells PEOPLE. "I asked them what they were doing in Savannah, and she said it was their anniversary and they had never been able to get in the restaurant before. The line wasn't too terribly long today."

After waiting in line outside, Reynolds and Lively were seated at a table with six others for the family-style meal, which included plates piled high with such Southern favorites as fried chicken, homemade biscuits, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, meatloaf and butter beans.

"Nobody made a fuss over them," Thompson says. "I know the other people sitting at the table knew who they were, but they didn't say anything to them about who they were and that was nice. I thanked [the other diners] for that."

The couple left before dessert – banana pudding – was served and Reynolds, 36, paid cash for their lunch (the bill was $36) and left a generous tip.

"When he stood up and put that smile on me, I nearly fainted. He is so good-looking," Thompson said of Reynolds, who was named PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive in 2010. And she says Lively, 26, "was so sweet and so pretty."

"I am honored that they came here on their anniversary," Thompson says. "I hope they enjoyed it."

With "Devil's Knot" out of the way after premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, Atom Egoyan is working at a Steven Soderbergh-like pace and already has another movie in the can, this one starring Ryan Reynolds. But it has undergone some slight modifications.

Originally announced under the title "Queen of the Night," according to production company The Film Farm, the movie will now be called "The Captive." Co-starring Scott Speedman, Mireille Enos, Rosario Dawson, Kevin Durand, Alexia Fast and Bruce Greenwood, all we've really known about the movie thus far is that it centers on the father of an abducted child who still thinks she's alive eight years after she's been taken. A fuller synopsis has been unveiled, and it seems the thematic territory treads into similar areas as "Prisoners," though clearly with some major differences as well. Check it out below:

MATTHEW is driving his massive logging truck and leaves his precious daughter sleeping as he ducks into roadside washroom. When he returns she is gone.

In the following years, his wife TINA visits the police station where she has formed a relationship with the detective, NICOLE. Each year on CASS’s birthday, NICOLE gives TINA a report on how the search for her missing daughter is going. Lately, the police have identified the girl on the internet, but have had no success in tracking down her physical presence. CASS has aged 8 years since her disappearance. She is being held somewhere, but what is she doing there? The disturbing nature of her “broadcasts” is gradually revealed. Can CASS use these “broadcasts” to her advantage to plan her own escape?

THE CAPTIVE is a drama about how this kidnapping destroys two relationships—that of MATTHEW AND TINA, who blames her husband for all that has happened, as well of that of NICOLE and her co-*‐worker JEFFREY. NICOLE AND JEFFREY work intensely with the horrors of internet child abuse crimes from day to day. Surprisingly, they find they have a good relationship despite their horrific work and are attracted to each other. They have a strong connection until the moment when Jeffrey’s obsession with work crosses an ethical line.

Years after the kidnapping, MATTHEW is driving a truckload of nursery trees to a remote destination. On his way, he stops for an overnight stay at a motel. When he wakes the next morning his truck is gone. A single tree is left in its place. In the far distance he sees another stolen tree planted on the side of the road. Approaching it, he sees another and another. The Trees are leading him somewhere. Is this a nightmare, or is he confronting a disturbing dream come true?

The theme of THE CAPTIVE is that great evil will not go unpunished, but the twisting nature of this evil creates an unpredictable and complex story.

No word yet on a release date, but with the Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals in the early part of 2014, perhaps we'll see it pop up there.

Adi Shankar -- who produced Brad Pitt's Killing Them Softly, the incredibly underrated Dredd and Thomas Jane's kick-*** The Punisher: Dirty Laundry short film among many others -- has hooked ETonline up with the exclusive first look at his latest project: The Voices, starring Ryan Reynolds, Gemma Arterton, Anna Kendrick and Jacki Weaver!

The genre-bending film focuses on Jerry Hickfang (Reynolds), a disturbed factory worker who hears advice from his pets and becomes implicated in the accidental death of his co-worker.
Promising the visuals will be just as dynamic as the storytelling is director Marjane Satrapi, whose animated masterpiece, Persepolis, was nominated for an Oscar, a Golden Globe and dozens of other awards in 2007.
The Voices will open in 2014.
