^Not really. Like most places, if you ask the average person if the know a certain model, the answer is usualy no, even if that model came from their hometown. I have noticed that Canadian entertainment shows are very supportive of homegrown talent and it's not surprising to see a model profiled on them. Heather Marks and Daria Werbowy have had similar interviews and there's a video that E Talk daily did about Mode Models a few months back as well.

Former high school football player Ryan Taylor booked this season's Valentino Red campaign shot by Mert and Marcus and has images in the latest V Men "Cliff Hangers editorial shot by Will Davidson.

Ryan Taylor in Arena Homme+Add to that 20 solo pages in the S/S 07 Collections in Arena Homme + shot by David Armstrong and the more than 30 shows booked last season and you know this is a boy whose star is shining awfully brightly right now.

Taylor will be featured Tuesday evening on MTV e2. He was interviewed for the profile piece while shooting for the upcoming issue of Cheek Magazine.
