Ryan was on ET Canadian edition, here's more info..from MH via jericho :huh:

Like I said up there, I had no way to record the thing, but it aired tonight. In lieu of being able to record it, I'll at least try to summarize.

It was about five minutes in length, maybe less, and aired toward the end of the show. Much of it was shots of his photos, which at first I thought was lame and redundant. Then I realized that unlike modelphiles like us, most people haven't seen them. haha

The very first thing it said was something like "Fashion model Ryan Taylor is on his way to Hollywood and stops to talk to ET Canada about his high school graduation." It said how he's walked all the top runways in various fashion capitals and showed various pictures. Then it showed a couple of glimpses of the inside of his house in Burlington, namely the kitchen and the bathroom. It's a very middle class suburban home, exactly the kind of home you'd expect in a Canadian/American subdivision where the homes are in rows and fairly similar. A normal suburban home. It showed his mom, who looks fab and has long wavy blonde hair. A modern mom. She was helping him with his suit and stopped to read the tag. "Hugo Boss," she said.

Then it went into his background, how he was discovered during a family photo session, and very briefly showed the black and white family photo of what looks like his mom, dad, younger brother and him. He looked exactly the same in the photo as he does now. Then it panned to him wearing his suit, and he says something like "So how do I look?" in a way that could be construed as cocky but sounded like it was prompted by the ET Canada people. Then it shows him meeting with about eight of his friends in front of someone's house, also located in a modern Weeds-style subdivision, and photographs being taken. Two girls give brief sound bytes about how Ryan is great and a humble guy.

Then it shows Ryan talking about how he hopes to get into acting. (He didn't say he planned to quit modeling.) He plans to take some acting classes, he says, and try his luck with that. Then it shows him in his row of friends again and he says something like, "Thanks, ET Canada, for joining me on my high school graduation." The end.

aww bless him! I hope to see him on the runway in the next few weeks but somehow I dont think he'll be there :[
 
i think he is a model that may do well in acting, he seems to be the introspective type... good actors are intouch with these things

Yes, I totally agree...he can evoke different emotions, as you can see from his eds :flower:

Although, I'd like to see a better transition from modeling to acting...Hopefully, he does tonnes more runway, print and nabs an ad (or two) prior to making that switch...^_^:wub:
 
he seems much more self-confident that i expected him to be
