The wrong place being the Creative Director role at a luxury fashion house and the time being ever.

I just went to revisit his collections and nope. Still boring. Still forgettable with no direction that I doubt even the best creative teams in the world could spin a narrative into. The interim team collections have more soul and direction even if they are disjointed and all over the place.

yes! maybe the "best" or the least bad collection is the Prefall25...but still the problem is everything is too generic...even if you want to do minimal have to have a vision a direction, there are many ways to do minimal with a soul...

Because of the times we live in he became popular and as shallow as he is, that was enough...and the money of course...
