We really can't escape the Carhartt collaborations though huh.

^I’ll never understand her & Junya’s seemingly never-ending love affair with that brand, but I’ll take her Carhartt stuff over his any day.

Those pieces w/ the floral patterns built into the garments are fantastic. That’s definitely something I can’t recall other designers doing before, but please don’t “well actually” me.

Fantastic work, nonetheless.

My only guess is Carhartt possibly sells well in Japan? Given its American workwear heritage and Carhartt W.I.P being a streetwear brand as well. Not sure why it deserves a spot in the runway presentation though.

this collection is not her magnus opus for sure.
it's not that much of a surprise as i mostly like her offerings for the winter seasons way more.

As usual i love her twisted way to make the usual suspects as suits, coats, dresses and bomber jackets very edgy. this time a little bit less color-blocking, mix and match and square and sraight would be more.

the hawaiian flower prints (even the technique on the jackets is remarkable) are not her forte - at all. but the knitwear is the real star for me in this solid collection.

i don't mind her Carhartt collabo if she's giving the perfect parka (look 23).

I really like it. I wish it was less linear. I like a mistake or a moment that feels off, a bit like a total expression of creativity…
