At Satine in Los Angeles, Dover Street Market in London, 10 Corso Como Comme des Garcon in Tokyo, Sacai from Abe Chitose ? another Rei Kawakubo collaborator ? has quickly found a following for her clinical knitwear. Cashmere tanks with chiffon overlay at the bust, ecru-colored tennis shirts with asymmetrical buttoning around the neck, and hand-knitted cardigans with chiffon ruffles are some of the standouts in Sacai's spring line. The label continues with experimental knits, weaving lurex, mesh, and other futuristic materials into simple designs. Its low-key concept involves the best hidden construction, ensuring the exterior of each piece looks accessibly lived-in.
