The lighting in this image of Gwyneth is terrible—I can't believe David Sims shot it! And Gwyneth for Saint Laurent? Are they really that desperate now?

I’m just appreciative of the fact it’s not another black and white studio-shot campaign image from David Sims for Saint Laurent. Personally, I could take or leave Gwyneth Paltrow but I don’t hate this. Paltrow looks good, I like the slicked-back hair and the sharpness of the blazer.

Believe it or not, the internet kinda loves her - but in a farcical campy kinda way. In a world where celebrities are desperate to seem 'relatable', Gwyneth is refreshingly haughty. That bizarre skiing court trial did wonders for her.

You don’t need to be liked by the world to front a campaign for a fashion brand anyway. Even more when the fashion brand has many celebrities per seasons fronting their campaigns….
