Salvatore Ferragamo F/W 13.14 Milan

I guess the mod 60s thing kicked off by LV last season isn't going away.

Its not bad but its boring, Ferragamo has no look, it just apes other designers, one season its Chloe, another Cavalli, another LV. I miss Cristina Ortiz for the brand.

loladonna: Jacobs' take on mod was too literal. heavy-handed and costume-y, as he always is with any concept. This is subtle and masterfully-restrained.

Must be my constant craving for Helmut Lang, so this will do very nicely. If I remove the accessories-- particularly the necklaces, it's a more polished, even bourgeois without all the stuffiness take on classic Helmut Lang, and it works for me. Lush collection.

This was... forgettable. It's a shame, their Men's collection was spectacular.

It was definetely polished, but in comparison to spring and summer this doesn't serve as one of his best minimal collections, you should have seen my face at the end of the show lol, I was totally expecting something with even just a bit of fun

I like the design of most looks here, but almost everything, again, looked very heavy, stiff and uncomfortable. This time it was made even worse by most tops having turtlenecks. I can't imagine wearing any of this, it would make me feel like I'm suffocating. I really liked this and this look, the rest pretty much leaves me cold. Hate the shoes this time but many of the bags looked nice.

Very repetitive and monotone. I would still love to wear some pieces though but all in all it's forgettable.

nice cuts boring colours.needs a soul.the collection did not win my heart.

I personally think its fantastic, even if it does lack originality. The color palate is to die for imo, and the boots are just-wow I wish I could own a pair. I also really like that white, tight turtleneck number.

No, no this collection is from Versace F/W 10.11

OMG I didn't have the balls to say this but it's so true, the first thing that came to mind :flower: it's a good collection but i'm afraid it's not a stand out like all of his other collections have been

^^ First thing I thought too. The boots, the colors, the cuts...

Nothing spectacular. It's just all so... meh. Last season's collection was amazing.

it kinda reads as.... late 90s/early 00s to me... i wanna say Calvin Klein? and Versace. maybe Calvin Versace

can't put my finger on it tho

The tailor surely is superb, but I don't like the shoe it remind me of versace as well. zthe overall look was a bit underwhelmed to me.
