Control is such a good movie. But I think it gives a bit too rosy and "I'm a tormented, suffering artist" picture of Ian Curtis. I recommend reading the book Touching from a distance by Deborah Curtis.

Back to the topic, Sam is extremely talented actor and I wish we could see him in more movies. He's so non-Hollywood and that's why I love him.

Yeah, he is amazing in control. As a fan of Ian Curtis I was really impressed when I first saw the film ! I love the fact that it is in black & white too. Both actors and director did a wonderful job.
