The F/W 2026.27 Show Schedules...
And I agree that she looks just fine in PP, but Sara's the only good part about it. The clothes and styling and whatever they did to her hair, just weird and cheap looking. They always have sucky campaigns, and I think it's below her level, she deserves much better
papermag.comHow did you spend your holiday season this year?
Sara Blomqvist: My Christmas was very calm and cosy. I spent Christmas Eve with my family back home were I grew up [in Karlstad, Sweden] and then Christmas Day with my friends. I went to my parent's home and my two brothers came along as well, so we ate a lot of good food and played cards and some games. For New Years, my friends and I took the celebration to Oslo where we had a three course dinner. Afterwards we went out... except it was absolutely freezing! I ended the night at private party with a couple of my good friends and we danced all night!
What was your favorite Christmas gift this year?
SB: Since my family does not really exchange Christmas gifts I can't say that I have a favorite one! But I did get a very nice text message from a person that I care about, which was worth much more than any gift!
How long did you believe in Santa Claus?
SB: I don't think that I ever believed in Santa at all since my parents never told me or my siblings that he existed.
Does your family have any quirky holiday traditions?
SB: My family used to play a game called "Fillipin": if you open a nutshell and it's a double [nut], you can choose a person to challenge and decide what to bet. Then the first person that remembers to say "Fillipin" the next morning wins.
Favorite holiday desert:
SB: Knäck, a type of Christmas candy made of cream, syrup and sugar. Otherwise I love the polka-dot things that we hang on the tree.
Favorite holiday film:
SB: When I was younger, The Sound of Music was always on television during the holidays, so now I really love to watch it at this time of year.
Are there any films that you would like to see or books that you look forward to reading in 2009?
SB: I'd really like to read and see some classic books and films: you know, the ones you just have to have read or seen! Also I am looking forward to seeing what is really going on on the island when Lost returns on the air.
never believed in Santa?

PONY RYDER :You already did almost every show, but still what was your favorite show so far?
SARA BLOMQVIST : Hmm… I really liked the Chanel show for AW08. I usually never notice the audience at shows, but since I was up on the carousel for a good ten minutes I had a chance to see all the people watching the show.
PONY RYDER : Chanel, Chanel, Chanel!!! Tell us about the Chanel show! The production is huge, how does that affect your work and your performance? Does it make things easy for you, or is it just pressuring?
SARA BLOMQVIST : In one way it's easier, since everything is so well planned, which usually makes it less stressful. I usually see work as work, so I don't get that nervous... unless my heels are loose of course![]()
PONY RYDER : What does Sonia Rykiel request for her show? Does she (or her daughter or her staff) explain what personality and attitude she wants to perform on the runway? And what is Karl (Lagerfeld) like. Does he come backstage?
SARA BLOMQVIST : When you're on the casting for Sonia you know you have to be more positive than usual. I think it's nice with the variety! Also the producers are showing what feeling they're after.
Karl is super nice! He is backstage both at fittings and shows and looks over the collection.
PONY RYDER: You did an editorial with model star Freja Beha. How was it? Any tips from the star herself? How do you think you fit in the photo-story with Freja, who has such a unique look?
SARA BLOMQVIST : I love Freja, she is SO beautiful! The shoot was quite intimate, since we were hugging and looking into each others eyes in almost every picture, but it was fine. She is such a pleasant person! I think we looked really good together, didn't you?
PONY RYDER: ;D
PONY RYDER: What is your favorite make up brand?
SARA BLOMQVIST : I don't really have a favorite... For me it's not about the brand, it's more about the structure and quality of the product. Private I usually wear a little bit of ID's mineral foundation, some blush, highlighter and brown mascara. If I'm going out I might add it up a bit though, with some brown shade, highlighter and black eyeliner on the eyelid. I own tons of makeup though, since I think it's so prettyAnd I love makeup brushes!
etc...etc...
