She's gearing up for the big launch of her new shoeline "SJP" and during promotions, Sarah Jessica Parker landed a feature in the February 2014 issue of O magazine.
During her interview with the publication, the former "Sex and the City" star shared more details about her shoe line, including its price tag and logo.
On the heel heights of "SJP" shoes:
"These heels are high, but not like you’re on stilts. There’s nothing sexy about not being able to walk."
On her shoe line's price:
“Those are hard-earned bucks so I really tried to give women beautiful silhouettes and colors and excellent quality for their money. I didn’t want to do anything that says, ‘Oh, these shoes are 2014.’ I want my shoes to be a part of the world for a long time to come.”
On her trademark on every shoe:
"The thing is, when I was growing up, we really didn’t have two nickels to rub together, but my mother always made sure that my sisters and I had two grosgrain ribbons in our hair. The rule was that we ironed them every single morning. We even had a special bureau dedicated to hair ribbons. I have them for my own daughters now, and my nieces wear them too. The grosgrain ribbons make SJP’s really identifiable to others and really personal to me.”

Sarah Jessica Parker wears a little black dress while attending the opening of The New School’s University Center on Thursday morning (January 22) in New York City.
The 48-year-old actress was looking ravishing in red last week while celebrating the launch of her new Hallmark Collection of greeting cards, stationery and gift wrap, sold exclusively at Hallmark Gold Crown stores.
While celebrating at the event, SJP was asked what her secret to her successful marriage with husband Matthew Broderick is.
“The secret is, we don’t discuss it. To reporters or anybody else. That’s it!” she told The Huffington Post. “We don’t hold it up as an example and we don’t air our dirty laundry.”
FYI: SJP is wearing a Tracy Reese dress, Fogal tights, Manolo Blahnik shoes, and Fred Leighton earrings at the New School. She is wearing a Michael Kors dress, SJP shoes, and an Oscar de la Renta jacket at the Hallmark launch.
I got to photograph her this morning and she was just the coolest! She made sure to stop all the interviews to autograph the shoes of any fan that asked her during the press preview.
