2013 BAFTA Awards

I was there tonight!

Honestly, Jen Lawrence looked SO MUCH better than it shows in pictures.
And it was really nice to see which celebs really cared about the fans. Jen was the best.. she came back to us like three times, though she had to be somewhere else already.
Also, Bradley Cooper and Eddie.. wooahh, they looked so uh-mazing, and they really care about their fans. They were both so sweet, came back to the fans quite a few times and I got a hug from Bradley, yay!

Also other sweet stars were Hugh Jackman, Annie Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Tim Burton, George Clooney (got a hug from him as well, such a sweet guy!), Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. Such a great bunch of people! And they all looked fab! And it was really cold today, snowing and raining all day long.

And Marion looked absolutely stunning! She was really funny, she had a look on her face like 'it's so damn cold, why are we only wearing dresses?!' haha

What's with the transparent_thingy of that Dior-gown? and why do they do dresses like that? I don't get it...I thought it was a mistake at Jen's GoldenGlobe night and now that gown has this transparent thing on purpose...weirding me out!

I dunno. I'm kinda sucker for these weird and interesting things. Without "the thingy" it'd look plain boring to me. But that's just my opinion

Anne Hathaway, Amy Adams, and Jessica Chastain all looked super fantastic! Each women's gown really suited them. I especially have to say, as someone who has a hair color and skin complexion sort of similar to Jessica's it's been so lovely to see her wear some really great shades of colors, like mint green and royal blue, it's certainly given me some ideas of colors that I should look out for as well.

And as for Dame Helen Mirren, what a total bad***! I saw her last week on Graham Norton with her normal hair color (looking amazing, as always, I must add) and I love how she changed the color up in times for the baftas. I hope that I'm like her as I get older, by carrying myself with such grace and spunk.

It's called a design element. In this case, it's a transparent cutout. You can't go questioning every element of design of a dress. It's there because it's a design.

My favs are Saoirse Ronan and Alicia Vikander
The runners-up are Jessica Chastain and Marion, loved the vibrant colours of their dresses. JLaw looked good as well. Can't deny Amy, SJP and Jennifer Garner were the epitome of elegance.
My biggest disappointment is Elizabeth's Chanel, it just doesn't work. And couldn't care less about Anne, even if she didn't wear Chanel.

I know that it's a design element  I still don't get it as I do not like it as a design - it reminds me of an element that was left out when finishing a dress , that's all - and I was tongue in cheek aka sarcastic when questioning it :flower:

SJP, Andrea Risenborough, Jennifer Garner, and Amy Adams were my best-dressed of the night. Sorry to be the voice of dissent here, but I hated Marion's dress. It may be a design element, but I think when most of the world thinks you're having a wardrobe malfunction, then it's time to go back to the drawing board maybe. Now, that may be blasphemous, but I'm sorry. Just my opinion. Helen McCrory (and it pains me to say this because I love her), also looked a mess.
