Interesting. She's been around for so long, and all of the sudden booking A list shows.

It takes some girls time before they have breakouts. Take Joan Smalls for example, who modeled for 7 years before she booked Givenchy, which lead to her other "major" bookings. No one took a second look at her while she was in development at Elite.

Sasha first came to NY when she was 15 with DNA. The difference in her facial structure between then and now makes her almost unrecognizable. There is no denying that the features were always there but now she has a ton of facial definition which fits more with the "bird-like" look of the runways these days. Not to mention that she lost her baby fat and her body is on par with the top runway girls.

I'm happy to see her succeeding. She's one of the sweetest, kindest girls out there. It just goes to show that not every girl hits full stride in their first 3 weeks out. For some it takes years, and I think it makes the girls more grateful for their success in the meantime.
