Does anyone else think the backstage staff, etc is trying to make Sasha into Gemma (blonde, BONE STRAIGHT hair, etc) since Gemma isnt at NY Fashion Week? I cant help but think i am looking at Gemma in every picture, especially Michael Kors and Luella. Sad!

It's just you. Sasha looks like Sasha and Gemma looks like Gemma.

Granted. I will not visit this thread anymore (Sasha is just UGH to me) BUT i will say this, you could never come to Gemma's thread and say that she looks like Sasha, because that is impossible. Now Sasha, Vlada, Heather, etc, saying that they look like Gemma is a typical occurence.

You know, I remember back in the days when I joined TFS and the Sasha thread only had 30 or so replies. (How it has grown over the past 2 years. ) The Gemma comparisons seemed to start when her first Prada campaign came out. It's weird, because I thought she looked like Gemma in the beginning also, but as time has gone by, you can see they're nothing alike.

Gemma, Sasha, Heather, Vlada and Stam are all models thaty I like and each for their own reason. Yes, Sasha has a look that you have to get used to, but once you do, well, you never go back. Her editorial work is flawless and you can almost see the emotions jumping off each page. Yes, she can look a tad ackward on the runway, but frankly, she's improved a great deal since her first season, and I've kind of grown to like the way she works the catwalk. It may look a bit.....unique, for lack of a better word, but it's very much her own and she makes no apologies for that, which I think is very cool.

Gemma is a great model, there is no doubt about that, but the way I see it, comparing her to Sasha is like comparing Prada to Versace. Both are great in their own rights, they may not appeal to the same people, but that doesn't make one better than the other. This whole Gemma VS Sasha thing is becoming redundant.

I don't think that any model set the standard for the other. Each one has their own look, even if they fall into category doll/bombshell/quirky/etc. Beaty is in the eye of the beholder. Let's just root for all our faves!

thank you but no I don't mean that you or any other gemma fans should not come to this thread. you all are always welcomed to come to this thread if you suddenly decide that she's not "UGH" to you anymore...(you will eventually fall in love with her we'll see )
