Sasha for VS is a BIG no no. Not that I hate VS or anything, but rather that she doesn't fit VS. Her face is not conventionally beautiful & her body is not curvy. She's just not commercial at all.

Well the folks at Biotherm, Gap and H&M disagree. Sasha is an excellent commercial model, unconventional looks and all - that's what photoshop is for. I am not saying that she should be the next VS angel (although she can give Adriana a run for her money when it comes to bringing the silly), but these days Sasha is as much a commercial model as a high fashion model, maybe more.

Who said something bad about Lara at VS, Imma kick her ***!I'm afraid people will call her ugly, just like what they did with Lara when she walked for VS.Nonetheless I am happy for her!

I think doing VS will do Sasha some good, give her another patch to her already full b body of work. Nothing wrong with doing the show as it is so huge - a little exposure will do her only good.
In print, she may be. But on VS runway? I doubt it. Her body is not attractive to most people watching VS, and same to her face, although makeup and some of their other tricks will help a bit. As someone said before, I'm afraid she'll get negative feedback from the VS audience. Plus, the image of VS has always been about sexiness, while that of Biotherm, Gap and H&M is not.
Anyway, I take back the comment that she's not commercial at all. What I've been trying to say is that she doesn't suit VS. But there's no confirmation on her appearance at VS yet so it's no use making such a fuss over this

I am NOT saying that I want Sasha to be in the VSFS (although the thought of Sasha doing her Sasha thing is starting to intrigue me), but the thing about Sasha that fascinates me is that she breaks the rules / challenges the conventional wisdom about the divide between high fashion and commercial modeling. People can say what they want about high fashion modeling, but there have always been commercial-type models doing high fashion (Doutzen Kroes, Karolina Kurlova, Karlie Kloss, Monika Jagaciak, Hilary Rhoda, Constance Jablonski, Chanel Iman, et. al.), but there have not been a lot of high fashion models who have had a sustained presence in commercial market as a model, as opposed to some famous guy's girlfriend or a celeb in her own right, and the fact that H&M and Biotherm keep booking her says something about the unique powers of

about the whole commercial stuff: it's impossible to go in a store and NOT see a picture of her!!! here in germany she is everywhere!!! there are so many posters of her around my town of h&m and (believe it or not) the prada fragrance ad!!! they are everywhere (what is really good for me) hahaha
