thanks runner... I love the first one the most, the collar is really cute. theyre really great :flower:

The colour/fabric combination on the first is too stark...

however, really like the second!

Looking forward to seeing more.

runner do you know where i can find this? i've been trying to find the sweater jackets since last winter season when icho nobutsugu first launched them (i think)... beside barney's japan, anywhere else? thanks

i love the idea of a knit blazer...
the elegance and polish of a woven garment combined with the comfort and ease of a knitted garment...

very nice..

thanks for sharing runner...

^^good question...^_^...

i had forgotten about this thread but i actually wound up buying a knit blazer eventually...
mine is by comme des garcons---*i know, big surprise!*......

i was just looking at it the other day...
the thing is- i think i've only worn it once in the 2-3 yrs that i've had it...:ermm:...
but i can't get rid of it because like i said earlier in this thread...
i like the idea of a knit blazer...i just need to wear it!...
...

i like the long one you posted especially runner...
do you have a knit blazer?...
it seems like something that would be good on you and work with your wardrobe/style...

What is the texture of yak wool? Soft?
this is much softer (or sort of more refined) than what would typically be expected from some heavy duty/local folklore yak stuff.
but it's not tender at all,
as a material for a knit blazer that somewhat keeps its shape.

although I don't know if it can exactly be callled a blazer, I have one from luc, softgrey.
I actually was about to get the short one from icho, but saw someone 60ish wearing it. he looked very good in it and I gave it up. :ninja:

folklore---
this does have the feeling of 'refined folklore'...
i like that...

i guess the luc piece is the one i am thinking of then, runner...
it's funny what you said about seeing it on someone who wore it well...
i can understand that...
i know that some people might do the opposite and buy it because it looked very good on someone else...
but i would probably feel the same as you...
if someone wears something really well, it becomes their look and it belongs to them...
i might give it up as well...
*unless i could think of a totally different way to wear it that would be just as good...
:p
