This interview was conducted by ELLE China while Sean was shooting his M Jeans campaign in China this summer.

ELLE: How did your model career start?
Sean: I was scouted by Nole Marin, who was once the referee of America's Next Top Model. He came across my photo at a ball via MySpace and discovered me.

ELLE: We hear that you are of both Indiana and Irish descent, is that true?
Sean: Yes. My mother is of Indiana descent, and my father is of the other.

ELLE: Which part of your body satisfies yourself the most?
Sean: Ankle! Haha….Did I scare you?

ELLE: And any hobbies? What do you prefer to do when off work?
Sean: I love baseball and golf, as well as guitar. I play them with my friends whenever time permits, despite not being that professional.

ELLE: What is your ideal type of girl?
Sean: A girl with confidence, tenderness and a kind heart. And surely I don’t mind if she has hotness under her skin.

ELLE: Which part of a girl’s body usually attracts you?
Sean: Beautiful hair and eyes. Especially the hair, whether long or short. I think hair conveys the whole feel of a girl.

ELLE: What will you be if you had not become a model?
Sean: A researcher on marine life and oceans. Anything relevant to the sea intrigues me and helps me to relax.

ELLE: Is there anything you are eager to do recently?
Sean: I really miss my little sister, whom I haven’t met for long. I wish I could see her more, as well as my other family members.

ELLE: Have you thought about having your sister pursue a modeling career like you?
Sean: Oh, definitely not! It’s way too exhausting to work in this industry and I won’t introduce her to this. But on the other hand, she likes photographing, so I could probably be her model in the future.

ELLE: Have you got any specialties?
Sean: Let me think (….scratching head and ears for a while….)… I guess all the animals love Sean! And also, I am really good at houseworking. I know how to run a family well and I can do the house decoration myself.
