Self Service #43 F/W 15.16 by Melanie Ward

i like how androgynous it is. looking forward to seeing more

would like to like it, because she looks good, but idk, something fails to look good overall... the gold matched with the gray, too much androginy that leads to something not sublte enough, the background

Between the bad lighting and yellowish hair color, not feeling this cover of Saskia.

Looks like they are continuing the guest-edited-by-famous-stylist-theme. Me like it. I wish to see an Alex White or Karl Templer or Camilla Nickerson issue....:P

Definitely not a fan of the cover, but the content will surely be good. I dont know why Saskia had to go blonde, it doesn't suit her imo.

can she do anything apart from androgynous look anyway? this magazine is totally sterile from any fun whatsoever...

Love Saskia but this cover is just off, the hair colour change is a total botch job, still looking forward to the content.

The color is just so unflattering and so is the light, I don't like this at all!!!!

^ Great minds think alike; well these are the only three I would ever invest time in pouring over Self Service to, but given the industry's rote selection of the same old mainstream photographers and new (copy)cats, I'm not sure that it would necessarily live up to expectation.

How M&M are contributing to 'Self Service' is beyond me. Their aesthetic is so far removed from what this magazine is (or used to be) about.

Saskia is one of my favorite models but this cover's really insipid, especially the golden-yellow hair.

This time it comes out so late. It is said to be out in October and we still haven't seen the rest 3 covers.:o
