Seven Jeans Next Collaboration

ugh sevens suck

I love my sevens:P They have a perfect fit for me, which makes me come back to them. That and Paper Denim's jeans!

I'm not sure what's more obsene - how designers/brands try to present themselves as low key granola loving tree huggers who are just out to create (not to make a buck) and then have a 500% markup or the people who spend ridiculous amounts of money buying clothes to project the image of being a granola loving tree huggers. Ironically it's all capitalism at it's very best.

I agree with Plastic'sWife!

Yes the jeans fit really well, but they definately are not underground. I think Wet Seal has a collection of Sevens, so do Lane Bryant and Express so whats underground about them? I think well fitting jeans will never go out of style but $500 jeans are for rappers and movie stars. Thier logo used to be so exclusive but now everyone has knocked them off. I think they should sell the business while they are still on top.

to say that jeans at a certain price are only for rappers and movie stars is completely inaccurate but I say where what you want and don't buy into hype. Simple as that. If something fits, you like it, and where it your own way, then does it matter whether 1 or 500,000 have the same thing? No. And BAPE is about hype just as much as Sevens so I wouldn't think it would be a great replacement.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Evisu charge's just as much as well, if not more.

You know jeans are weird. I'm 5'11 which makes it hard for me to find cute jeans that are long enough, which is why I love Juicy, Paper Denim and Seven. But if the prices will get that high, it's not worth it anymore :(

It's a c-o-n spiracy, I tell ya

Me and my brother were just talking the other day how jeans are so ridiculously priced nowadays. Paying over $100 is standard. Where as back in the 80’s and early 90’s, the $70-$90 range was like whoah (think Guess and Lucky). After resisting for so long, I finally gave into this expensive racket. Personally I like Citizens cuz they’re slightly less ubiquitous and they fit me much better than 7’s. Side note: I left some $160 Miss Sixty Jeans that I was about to exchange on the train while on my way to work L Now that hurt! It still hurts to think about it.

damn, another money scheme aimed toward snobby rich girls

I don't buy stuff for the label or the exclusivity. I buy for cut and overall look. And these were way cool: slim, tapered, with a bit of stretch. Very rocker-chick and very unlike what I see in the stores. I was seduced. I had to have them. An now they're gone :(

update.

this is just WRONG.

these are the most UGLIEST (not the mention the most outrageously priced) sevens i have ever seen.

whats wrong with GCW?
i was expecting customized denim with their signature designs similar to their hoodies..
(which isnt THAT good either, but definitely better than this)
this looks something a 10 yr old would make with DIY stick on rhinestones.

oh pics are from browns.

lol...

OH DEAR!

Sevens aren't really big in the UK...

and i can see why...lol

I'd advice anyone connected with that brand to jump over board now, before you go down with the rest...lol

I still wear Sevens. I agree with Meg, wear what fits and what you like. Unfortunately, for some the perfect cut comes at a higher pricetag.

the only people wearing seven in nyc are co-eds with no taste and striped-shirt guys. seven is easily the worst thing that happened to denim since fubu.

excuse moi?

Seven Jeans was something nobody knew about. And now with just some fame, they think they'll take over the Jeans business? lol
