As mentioned before, I also think his work is a bit flat, though his pictures really come alive when he works with Giovanna Battaglia. She has an amazing eye for color and really uses the colors of the location to complement the clothes.. I think it's one of those cases where the artistic direction of the stylist is more prominent than the photographers'.
