I like the vibe, even if it is nothing unusual, but the clothes are made too "roughly", I prefer more delicate approach to clothes.

the adjustable 'clips' dress which changes shape..
what Chalayan was trying to do but so much more simply elegant in Steffe's case

I dunno why but when I first saw that name I got it confused with Cynthia Steffe. And then I thought they were related but I had a double shot and realised her name is spelled differently. So funny they have such a close namesake....just that the other is totally boring.

But I love everything you posted in #3 with all the armour detail--reminds me a bit of Sherwood forest meeting "Dune". And the ecru blouse with the artisan's stitching....such a beautiful,complex touch to an overall simple piece.

I don't love everything that she does, but like you and Scott said, I like t he personal feeling her clothes have - and that that is something she consciously strives for. The statement on her website is that she seeks to create clothing that invokes emotional responses.

I'd like to disagree with you Cerfas! I think each of her pieces is exquisite. This is the sort of work that shows you true craftsmanship. Colour and glitz and baubles dont get in the way of the innovative design detailing.
