Shoes with Ribbons

Never thought I'd go back to this look, but I recently bought a few wedges, there were just too many cute ones out there...
My favourites are the ones with ribbons- I got this from Russell & Bromley (same style/color)

Seen any other cute shoes with ribbons?

Sure - espadrilles are everywhere these days! Search on that style and you'll find a ton of them.

But I always have a problem tying my ribbons with the right amount of snugness so that it doesn't:

a. cut into my feet
b. just slide straight down to my ankles?

Any suggestions? I find that it's best to tie them while standing up.

I saw a really nice pair of tie-up sandals..but cant remember what shop it was! Think it was Zara, they were just a flat sole and some fabric which looked like a scarf. They werent really my style but I think on the right person they would look cute.

I really like the ones diorling posted the others not so much, I don't really like those, I find the ribbon bits look a bit clumsy in comparison to the shoe

I don't think it's possible, that's why I'm not a big fan of the ribbon tie shoes. I mean they're really cute, but no matter how tight you tie them (cutting off circulation to your feet ) they always manage to loosen themselves up and fall to be around your ankles.

Speaking of rock star shoes, has anyone seen the Carlos Santana line of shoes? I dont know if they're really by the Carlos Santana but the collection is very cute and rather cheap.
