How much do you spend on shoes?

as a recent college grad, i've felt guilty for spending so much on shoes during college.. but coming to TFS i feel better, not alone, and not insane. i swear the UPS man, USPS man, fedex guy, DHL person, and everyone at the post office knows me by heart because i receive so many boxes.... full of shoes haahah.

once i start working full-time i plan to splurge $1,000+ on shoes, but for now my max i've spent is $500, and a lot for $100-$200 a pair. That being said... I try to limit myself but I always end up buying 4-5 pairs a month. I can't help it! It's a bad addiction.... I'm always in the "yay or nay" shoes thread haha. Every time my BF sees me on the computer, I am looking at boots, heels, pumps, platforms.. like dulcisima said, they give you confidence and a great feeling. shoes are my drug.

it's also really weird because i second guess myself on spending $100-$200 on a piece of clothing, but for shoes i don't think twice!!!

I've been ordering crazy amounts of stuff lately, especially since Europe is so darn expensive. Every piece of make-up and haircare is way more expensive over here, and we don't have any cute cheap clothing stores so I've been ordering just about everything. The TNT and UPS guys say hi to me when they run into me in the city and make small talk, and when one of them had put a small package in the mailbox he had written 'The mailman says hi!' on top of it

I don't buy a lot of expensive shoes though as I'm still in high school and I've been working for everything I own for the past 3 years, the most expensive pair I've ever bought was probably around €100. I do own two pairs of boots by Bally and Luciano Barachini that were about €300 and I got as a present (I don't get that all the time either, they must be the most expensive things in my closet untill now!)

On average lets say just over $100 USD. I am very picky and I like plain shoes, so I can end up stalking shoes for years. $200 is an extreme case...I think this is why I don't own any boots I can't bring myself to pay more than $200 on anything.
