BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE AW09 LOOKBOOK SHOOT

I can’t believe that I am about to admit this, but I am actually looking forward to next Winter. Last Thursday saw the Oasis AW09 lookbook shoot and after a sneak preview of next seasons collections I can honestly say that every grey cloud really does have a silver lining…. And not just silver in this case, but a whole array of liquid metallics, studding and sequins which Oasis have used to create an effortlessly chic collection of covetable, investment pieces of which I will definitely be adding my name to the waiting list for.
Shot in a studio in North London, the new season lookbook featured the well known and beautiful British model Sian Abbott who has previously featured in campaigns for Chanel, Adidas and graced the front covers of many a magazine, Fashion Photographer Angelo Pennetta who has shotfor Katie Grands’ new magazine ‘Love’, W Magazine and Vogue was on hand to capture the images on the day, whilst Fran Burns, of acclaimed fashion bible I-D styled up the thirty-six shots alongside Oasis’ Creative Director, Nadia Jones.
The day of the shoot kicked off to an early start and whilst the lovely Julia helped to unload and steam all thirt outfits………….
Sian arrived to start her Hair & Make-Up, provided by the very talented Florrie and Choccie. The look was kept soft and natural with a light colour on the cheeks and lips paired back to a natural, waved hair with slight gloss.
