sid was perfect for the band, because paul, steve and johnny weren't that professional (and didn't care for that) - so there was no difference at all. glen was the one who didn't fit in there. got my point?

I totally agree. Even now, when they give concerts, Glen looks so akward with them..

I do too. It must have been awesome to have seen them in real life. It might not mean a lot to kids today but these people, especially Sid, were way before their time lookswise.
And they looked great together.
