Twist in Sadie/Jude saga
This was dated Feb. of 2005, from nepotista.com, I thought it was very interesting...
Jude Law, who proposed to his actress girlfriend
Sienna Miller on 25 December of last year, has reportedly said they "could be engaged for years." Today - Valentine's Day! - we read that Jude, in the grandest romantic gesture since (sh)It-boy Fabian Basabe's pre-nuptial phone call to an American divorce attorney, has convinced Sienna to postpone their wedding until 2006 (at least). The ostensible reason for the delay, according to Sienna, is that they don't want to overshadow the weddings of their (his and hers) sisters, who are both getting hitched this year.
We here at Nepotista! find this explanation preposterous. First of all, why should the Law and Miller sisters' wedding days be any different than any other day of their lives? Secondly, we've never known an engaged couple to have any qualms about overshadowing another couple's wedding plans.
Anyway, more interesting to us than the chatter about Jude Law's next marriage is the gossip swirling around the end of his last marriage. The first version went a little something like this: Jude and his ex,
Sadie Frost, liked to do a little swinging with another couple, Supergrass drummer
Danny Goffey and his wife, designer
Pearl Lowe. Sadie got jealous of the attention Jude was paying to the beguiling Pearl, who, it was recently revealed, has a teenaged love-child, British model
Daisy Lowe, with Bush lead singer-turned-actor,
Gavin "Mr. Gwen Stefani"
Rossdale. Juicy, huh?
But, we've heard another version of the story that says the true object of Jude's affections, and Sadie's jealousy, was not Mrs., but MR. Goffey! That's the kind of thing to send Sadie running into the arms of good friend Kate Moss. For a shoulder to cry on, of course!
At this point, the Law-Miller marriage looks to be as likely to take place as the Bennifer nuptials. And we all know how that one turned out.
