Sigrid Agren

Oh yeah I forgot, Jac is exclusive for CK.. I am hoping Sigrid would be one of the 9 girls in Gucci campaign!

Yup, she has chance in the Gucci campaign, but that doesn't interest me.

But the last thing I want to see her in another multi-girl campaign again

... and another double-girl editorial (Constance & her in Vogue China and Karlie & her in Vogue
Italia, Le Chic story in W and The Models of the Moment story in Bazaar)

....seriously she needs to have her own solo campaign and editorial.

I don't think there is any doubt that she will nab something major campaign-wise.:D
I believe she was the most visible girl last runway season and that's gotta mean something.^_^

She doesn't have only-girl editorials ? Sounds strange to me... or I'm wrong and I was just really impressed by her in some multi-girls editorials which is quite a good thing too if she's able to catch so much attention even within a team.
As for the campaign, we can never tell what will happen until the pictures are out and it happened to some great runway girls to have a hard time translating it into campaigns but Sigrid is quite "magnetic" and I can imagine this might help...

^ Too bad Jac has the CK campaign

I think Chloé would be perfect :flower:

Jac has Calvin Klein Collections and mainstay said a Calvin line which could be Ck by Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans or the White Label.

Bottega sounds good but I hoped for something even more major. But if that is just a rumour and even if it will turn out to be true I will be happy. And maybe there will be something else. ^_^

By the way Sigrid had a nice only girl editorial in February in the anniversary issue of Numéro by Sundsbo. I would say that is something! And it's not like she's sharing editorials with some newcomers she's booked with girls like Lara Stone and Edita Vilkeviciute!

White Label and CK Calvin Klein sounds good for Sigrid, I doubt she is going to do CK Jeans since she did Armani Jeans.

Talking about her editorial in Numéro, I find it underwhelming and wasn't a good editorial to showcase
her at all and the only good thing about that ed is it was by Sølve. She was also solo in the Nicole Farhi
campaign but she did not shine through again too imo.

^Not white label...the cast for that is still sustained. And doing one jeans campaign does not mean she's exclusive for that brand -- it only propels her chances do to more denim marketing since it indicates that she has the appropriate figure :)

But I said nothing ;)

Haha, well I didnt say she's exclusive to Armani Jeans ;)

But it's unlikely the brand will choose her to front the campaign since she
fronted a rival brand campaign so recently, unless it's multi AGAIN

since Armani & CK are usually going head to head with each other for jeans :boxer:

^But that's just like saying that you can't be in a campaign for Gucci because you were just in one for any other "rival" brand (e.g. Dolce & Gabbana)... I know you didn't directly say she was exclusive, but that's the only reason Sigrid, or any model, would not front two different brands (Whatever line it may be) back-to-back. Brand-model identification seldom occurs these days, anyway, so it would not harm either company or Sigrid to be booked in such a manner.

^ Relax Faith

I was just saying it's unlikely she will appear in CK Jeans after appearing in
Armani Jeans, moreover it's just a personal opinion not a statement I'm making
to make you all believe me :flower:

And also I feel different towards jeans, because jeans generally looked very similar
as well as their campaigns, as compared to womenswear which the clothes look different
between houses each season and their campaigns have a lot of creative freedom for houses
to play with, therefore jeans in a way is marketed in a very different way as compared to womenswear

as for not harming companies in such a manner, it's not really for us to judge really, some companies might
think that they shouldnt use a model that the rival brand has picked so recently to front their latest campaign
because they would want to differentiate and not seems like " copying" the rival brand, brand-model identification
sometimes just comes naturally in the public ( mostly non-discerning) so some companies may want to avoid that,
but then again some companies would have no problem with it at all

Oh, I'm quite relaxed :) Just didn't understand your logic in strict separation between companies' marketing in such a situation. Even if the jeans look the same, the campaign visuals never are -- and that alone is adequate differentiation. And as Armani Jeans has much less marketing visibility than CK, it would not be an issue for Sigrid to shift over, as little connection between her and the brand has been established. You're right in that it's not our judgment in regards to business potential, but as CK has traditionally possessed more prestige/notoriety in the luxury jeans market, surely Sigrid and her agencies would jump at the booking opportunity when presented :flower:

I think Sigrid would be great for CK Jeans, that would be a wonderful fit.

Plus I really do feel as though she'll get Chloe and that could be exciting.

Haha, I agree on the little connection between her and the brand has been
established part, I totally forgot she was put on a mophead  and we could barely recognise her

As for the jumping at booking CK Jeans, well how could Sigrid say no to a prestigious
campaign like CK Jeans and the $$$$$$$ that comes with it ? :woot::lol:

I really enjoyed this convo with u, haha i love debates :D;)
