^These belong to the book Bare Moment by Peter Farago and Ingela Klemetz Farago, the same authors of the book Northern Women In Chanel.

After a big success in Stockholm, Peter Farago and Ingela Klemetz Farago's exhibition 'Northern Women In Chanel' moves to Copenhagen to the Designmuseeum. The pictures on display are from the book released earlier this year, with some of the most sought after Nordic models such as Freja Beha, Louise P, Dorothea Barth and Suvi Koponen. The Exhibition will be held from February 1st to April 8th 2012. The project has been enriched with a little sister called 'Bare Moments', a black and white portrait book. I already have the lavish coffee table book with the Northern Women so I'm looking forward to the exhibition and the new book.

like i said, i didn't make a fuss of this because i was opposed to sigrid doing nudes (she already kinda did in the W ed this month). i was only upset because i thought it apparently wasn't meant to be published work and there might be some betrayed trust. and because this pic i traced from tumblr to weibo and because i believe weibo, like twitter, needs to be ruthlessly suppressed by the state, it added to my suspicion of the possible shady characters of people who took these pictures and posted them. now that i learned the pictures are in published works, it mitigates my concern a little bit (judging from the wording on the farago site, the situation isn't all that clear and i am not completely over this yet)

and now we know sigrid has an extremely beautiful and enviable torso that she isn’t shy of showing off in front of a camera (models who don’t do nudes i usually despise: coco rocha and gisele bundchen, for example, whose reasons i suspect aren’t that intellectual, or even intelligent). models model with their bodies, and naked torsos are sometimes are deployed to add to the sheer power and impact of their modeling and the photography. they can all be better models because of it (no genitals, though – i believe fashion photography need not be sexless but must stay genderless. the purple eds by freja and lara, two models i otherwise hold in regard, are just yiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeer).

Sigrid, too, can be a better model because of it.
