A new made to measure capsule collection designed by Frida Gianini and Lapo Elkann.
The famous Italian Gucci brand well known for its pronounced taste for refinement, launches a unique MADE TO MEASURE capsule collection designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini and Lapo Elkann. This new exclusive collection refers to « Lapo’s Wardrobe » offering a real personalized, MADE TO MEASURE service for men. The range of exclusive luxury materials includes over 80 textiles and 178 possible combinations of colors and fabrics.
Giannini said, “Gucci’s MADE TO MEASURE program is the pinnacle of our Made in Italy expertise and allows each man to express his own style impeccably. Lapo perfectly embodies my vision of Italian style as an attitude, an instinct to interpret fashion in an individual yet sophisticated way. Lapo pays great attention to the details and is never afraid to take risks, so designing a MADE TO MEASURE wardrobe with him was a pleasure.”
The collection will be unveiled during the Spring Summer 2014 Men’s fashion Week in Milan at the opening of a new dedicated Gucci menswear store in the city’s Brera district.
« Lapo’s Wardrobe » collection proposes 27 looks – 23 for men and 4 for women and will be available at Gucci’s boutiques in Milan, London, Paris, New York, Tokyo and Sao Paulo, where specialized staff will assist the client throughout the fabric selection, fittings, finalization and delivery of the garment, which can require from 4 to 6 weeks.
