it's the "illusion" of a mirror. their poses and their hair is so grace-like. it makes you take a second look.

on first look, you think "oh, a girl, a mirror, in a desert." then comes a big "OH!". and when you know at least something about classical art (esp Boticelli's Graces), there comes another "OH!"
