Size 11 Feet

ONEHOTGRRL - Do you find you have to continually search the web for styles and sizes, so that you do find a pair that actually fits before they are all gone?

 its very stressful shoe shopping... one person said buying a shoe is like chosing a boyfriend... you need to try them all on before you can buy :ninja:

I have a size 10 Wide and back problems, so I need wider flatter shoes. Very difficult to find cute ones that are also comfy!

I thought size 41 is size 10? A lot of shoes that I looked at that have European sizing say 41=10... I'm confused now.
45 is a UK 11 or a US 12 so... (my size, hence why I know...)
44 - 11
43 - 10
42 - 9
41 - 8!

Remember that US women's shoes are a half size off US men's shoes though...

So, if I wear a 10 in like Steve Madden and other regular shoes, what size would I be in Manolos or Louboutins?

Prince- In my experience, US Women's shoes are about 1 1/2 or sometime 2 sizes off the Men's sizes. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 in US Women's- an 6.5 or 7 in US Mens:flower:

I think that big-footed girls are lucky. All of the amazingly discounted sale-racks usually still have lots of very small and very large sizes left. Go to the Barney's Warehouse sale on the final day and they'll be lots of 75 percent off Manolos/Louboutins/Pradas:woot: in size 11. In size 8.5? Only the uglies will be left:cry:

Manolos a 41 for sure, probably the same in Louboutin. Just to confuse the issue some more, some size charts point out that Italy size 40=France size 41.

And another item: I have one pair of YSL that are labeled 41.5 that are really too tight, and one pair labeled 41 that are totally comfortable:p .

The only answer is to try anything that's within the ballpark and hope for the best!

Yeah the best bet is to keep searching over and over. And try not to hesitate if you can help it or they might be gone.

sadly, the designers who make 41 shoes... i cannot afford
i end up with DSW Warehouse shoes that tend to break the first of second time i go up stair with them... oh the shame of $30 bad quality shoes

I'm a 12. :(

It's so hard to find nice/stylish shoes, let alone designer/couture shoes!

are there many online shops that go up to size 11 :flower:

Nine West, Victoria's Secret, Newport News - a lot of the low-to-mid range ones; occasionally couture zappo will have a 10.5. Also, DesignerShoes.com goes up to 12 sometimes with Stuart Weitzman, Claudia Ciuti, and Via Spiga.

Nieman Marcus carries some designer shoes up to 12, but it's more of a hit or miss thing (they don't offer a search feature that allows you to look by size) and the larger sizes tend to sell out fast.

Other than that, I mostly use Zappos.com and Nordstrom. I haven't ordered anything from Nine West yet, but I'm pretty psyched that they carry up to 12 now.

There's also Friedman Shoes in Atlanta. You can order online or request a catalog. (They don't really carry designer shoes those.)

I thought I was the only one with "long, beautiful" feet (US 10.5). It's comforting to know I'm not the only one swimming alone in this ocean of trying to find shoes that fit my feet. :)

i know for sure christian dior and manolo blahnik do up to size 12. i believe that dior maybe even do up to 12.5, but i'm not completely certain. the size 11-12.5 aren't widely available in the boutiques (i know the saks fifth avenue here in town doesn't carry sizes bigger than 10, and maybe sometimes 11) but you can defintiely special order them from christian dior or manolo. i believe christian lobuoutin does up to a 12 as well.

don't some designers also offer a service where you can order shoes made to the exact measurements of your feet?

and what about women with wide feet?
i've been thinking this. don't women with wide feet deserve designer shoes, too?
i really don't understand why most designers don't do in wide widths.
