i think the next big thing after vests will be sleeveless coats, as seen a lot in the ss08 ysl-collection and now even at zara...

Add this to the "I don't get it" files. I was never supportive of shrugs and boleros in colder times because I would think you need to cover all extremities in colder weather. Same applies for cropped hoodies for more active/sporty femmes (or fashionable ones. I know "fabulous" is going to be associated with sleeveless coats, but I look at most looks on the basis of function. Never confuse (much less compromise) fashion and function. Dusters come to mind for long, wearable coats. I immediately think of Fall/Winter with coats. I have a long leather coat in my closet. I would NEVER go out with a sleeveless coat even if I were a lady. I have my doubts in colder weather with these sleeveless coats.

On a lighter note, these sleeveless coats do look very stylish. Not really sure which one I like from the past few pictures, though.

when i read the title i was like ughh no. but i actually like them. they look more like long vests.
