SMUG is a bi-annual fashion and art magazine from Oslo, Norway. It was founded
autumn 2009 and has already, after only two issues, established itself as the
leading, independent magazine covering art, fashion, and culture in Norway.

The basic idea behind SMUG is that, in a time where websites and blogs are delivering
news minute by minute, the role of the printed medias needs to be re-evalueted. SMUG offers
a different take on contemporary fashion and culture by eschewing the product orientated
journalism that has dominated mainstream magazines the last couple of decades.

I haven't seen a thread dedicated to the magazine. Bought my first issue today and I haven't been this impressed by a magazine content in a while.

It's true that today is hard to keep it up with online medias. Cause you can write whatever in a minute. And when it comes to magazines...it comes out every month and all news are already everywhere and really....they have nothing to write about.

I'm definitely intrigued by this magazine. I don't know how much interest there is for each issue to get its own thread, seeing as it's relatively unknown. They've just released issue #5 and they have plans for an international issue this year (according to smugmag.no)
