i think i'm gonna go to thrift stores today, but if i don't find anything, what should i look for

For a guy, a fitted collared jacket or trench in a water-proof material (not plastic!) would be nice I don't know if anyone makes it, I just sort of had a general style in mind..

yeah agree waterproof but not plastic....
I found a kool water resistant blue short trench with pink lining once...

Thing though is..ur in Ventura..LOL its not gonna rain anytime soon.. (unless you need it for something else other than outside use right now).

I think you'll be able to find some funky ones at thrift or vintage stores, at least I dont think it'll be that hard..specially since winter is over most likely theres loads of people getting rid of their winter stuff.

Okay...LOL..I didnt know it rained during summer there..then again I'm basically clueless about most of the east side cept NY and Miami..

Anyways...I'm trying to think where I found some awesome raincoat stuff... I saw some shops near Melrose have some I think it could have been Jet Rag vintage or Slow also interestingly I found a really cute guys waterproof army jacket at old navy...I was nearere to your area around thurs or fri.....around Malibu and Calabasas area theres a store I found some coats and trenches and things at...if only I could remember the name. ...God I'm muddled up today.
