socialites nowadays are all fake (excluding the hearsts,trumps.etc) but alot of these girls (some who are not even rich or from prominant ny families) hire a PR person for 1500-3000$ a month to make them famous...they borrow clothes, befriend photographers, and makke sure they hang out with the right crowd...alot of these girls are just really really sad...i know two of thse girls who are complete wanabees...really feel sorry for them...

I have never seen a bad photo of Amanda Hearst, she is so beautiful! Great style too. Too bad the same can't be said for her cousin Lydia.

Lauren Davis is a stylist at Vogue Magazine. She is the rebel socialte. She dresses more like Mary-Kate Olsen than Aerin Lauder. But we never see pictures of her like that. only we see pictures in ball gowns that i can tell she is just pretending to like. She likes black, and skulls, and rock n roll music from new york. her husband is really cool too.

lauren's not married yet. she is marrying andres santo domingo this winter. she definitely isn't into skulls, but she is into more cutting edge designers than some of the elder socialites. and by that i mean people like olivier theyskens and proenza schouler (and she's good friends with jack and lazaro). that's not exactly 'rock n roll rebel.' she's definitely a bit more wild than the conventional socialite, but she is very much part of the vogue establishment. and about lauren's height - she is quite tall, about 5'9" - 5'10."
