whether they be knee-high, above the knee, or mid-calf, it seemed like socks showed up on quite a few runways this season. finally have moved away from leggings, but still with the same idea of "leg-accesories."
...seen at miu miu, prada, and dice kayek, they were worn mainly with skirts but even with dresses.

I actually like this look alot. Almost purchased the green Miu Miu ones from net-a-porter, but then i got a little sensible and realized i have nothing to wear them with besides shorts, which i never wear.

i love wearing socks, but sometimes am self conscious as the elastic at the thigh makes me look a bit lumpy. Does anyone esle find this? Any solutions?

Ps. the other day, i cut my stockings to thigh socks, but in 2 hours the top became loose and fell down!

i think its a play on that fabulous prada s/s 06 collection---which i may look at again for some inspiration...
as a side note--- when one is wearing flat shoes and full-length jeans--like loafers, is it fashionable to wear loud socks?

I love this trend! It makes an outfit to look more unique. Although I don't like the ones in Collette Dinnigan's show. The colour of the socks just happens to be wrong to my eye.
