For me she's a style icon but I understand your point of view. I think her outfits were more interesting a few years ago before she had her children. I love the collection she did for Vuitton though.

I do love the red Galliano that she wore to the Golden Globes. I believe Kirsten Dunst also wore it to the prom. Lucky girl.

I agree with the other poster who said that Sofia used to be more of a fashion/style icon before she had her children. Still, there is something infinitely classic, understated, but also very cool about her and the way she dresses, even now. At least that's how I see her.

Thanks FrenchCactus. Hopefully someone will snap some new candids soon. Not to be a spying-eye, but I'd like to see a little more of Sofia. I suppose she will be on the junket promoting "Somewhere" this fall, so we'll get to see more of her then. I think Phoenix are on tour now, or they are this fall for sure.

Sofia Coppola Directing for Dior Again?

Sofia Coppola, who directed a fragrance commercial for Dior a couple of years ago, looks to be working with the brand again. Coppola was snapped just short of a week ago filming a Dior advertisement in Paris; she reportedly worked with Natalie Portman, who signed to be the face of Parfums Christian Dior last month, and her cousin Robert Schwartzman (brother to Jason Schwartzman) in the Parc Monceau last Monday and Tuesday.

Thanks for posting those red carpet looks jomarlushka - really like the bottom look, the short, stripey dress she wore while pregnant. But I like pretty much every look you posted, a nice variety of classic, trendy, even funky.
