I think this was Sofia's 70s bohemian period. EW the magazine wrote something like...the mysterious girl on the cover, we hear, is none other that Sofia Coppola. LOL, I never would have expected her to pose nude like that.

I like her, she has good taste and her films are among some of my favourites, but she seems like she could be quite a snob in person. I thought it rather tasteless of her to so obviously take a stab at cameron diaz in LIT.

I think she posed nude quite a bit in her youth.
And for the MJ perfume ad not too long ago too.

I think shy people like her are always getting mistaken for snobby.
Though I wouldn't be shocked if she is a bit of a snob,

Yup. ^That quote, and also in LIT where John says something like, "You know, not everyone went to Yale," after she made fun of Anna Faris' character for being stupid.

And also in Broken English, where Drea de Matteo's character asks her husband "Do you think I'm a b*tch?" and when Drea and Parker Posey's characters are making fun of actors on TV Drea's husband says something along the lines of, you two are brutal/mean etc.

If you read some of her older interviews from the 90s, she does come across a bit snobby and bratty. I think she's changed though. Hopefully.

I was wondering if she did anything during her 90's. Her father's name must have opened a lot of doors for her. Not that it is a bad thing nesscarily.

She tried acting, moved in w/her bf at the time from Redd Kross and went to Mills College studying photography. Then she tried her hand at painting and went to another art school, I think. I think she just dropped out of school. I remember even seeing a video of her talking to Sheila E. at an awards show about how she could become a great drummer (lol). Sheila E. just said to 'keep practicing.' (Double lol.) Started Milk Fed, designed for it. Married Spike. She had little projects all along, but she says that she didn't know what she wanted to do at all and kept trying different things.

Thanks for that,god i love Santa Monica.I really find Sofia beautiful,i know many dont,but i just think she has a gorgeus face no matter how unconvetional its features are.

And can someone please clearify the Cameron Diaz supposed stab from LIT?I seriously never heard,read or knew anything about it.
