does anyone know the issue number, or at least the month and year it was published? my guess is dec 2005/jan 2006 but i don't have time to look through the whole thread!

I'm pretty sure that is the right date but someone who would probably be more sure about that. But I'm pretty positive it is Dec 2005. I think I'll look now to see if I see something on Flickr.

Edit: According to what I found on Flickr it would be Dec 2004/Jan 2005. I'm not confirming that though because I can't see the year on the cover so it could be wrong, but it's definitely either what I thought it was or this.

It is December 2004/2005. Kate Moss was 2005/2006, 2006/2007 was Galliano, 2007/2008 was Charlotte Gainsbourg.

non-fashion sofia news: there's a new book, boringly titled "screen plays" by a variety editor (cohen) that includes an entire chapter on lost in translation's, well, obviously, screenplay. interesting stuff. first time in forever i've read a nice long sc interview. and now, back to the fridge for a second sofia mini.

While shopping at French department store Le Bon Marché earlier this week, the Oscar-winning writer and director was the target of some brazen thieves, who swiped her credit card from her Marc Jacobs handbag. According to French police, more than $5,500 worth of goods were charged to the card—at the same store, no less—while Coppola shopped unaware. The thieves were eventually apprehended as they exited a second store.
