Sofia Coppola

only 2% of the world's directors are female. She admitted that stephanie Hayman designs the cloths now but she has done some designing and some for Marc Jacobs as well.

Your right. She has lived an amazingly charmed life and would not be where she is if not for her family.

great cover ( but kinda old)

she looks beautiful and edgy here

maybe this shoud be merged with the newer thread on sofia copolla?...

SOFIA COPPOLA FILMMAKER, ABOVE

What's a classic faux pas? The LA-movie-director look: a baseball cap, baggy baseball jacket, and fanny pack. Whose closet would you like to raid? I'd like to see Yoko Ono's closet, but I'd like to borrow from Kate Moss. Who's your style icon? For this photo, I was dressed like my brother. I also like Nick Drake, Diana Vreeland, Maria Callas, and Patti Hansen. What was your best fashion moment? I wore a black leather-and-lace Chanel dress to my prom in 1989. Which label appears most often in your closet? Marc Jacobs. What do you wish you could wear but can't? Superhigh heels. I can't walk in them. What makes you cringe? Over-the-top plastic surgery. What's your trademark? My broken nose. Her own Marc Jacobs shirt and jeans, Martin jacket, and Converse shoes.

Man, she's so adorable, and cool, and talented...i could go on forever about the things i love and admire about her. And it's weird; there's something about her that doesn't make me jealous of her even though she's got what I consider an absolute ideal life. I've loved her work - i think she's worked hard for the praise she gets. As much as she gets more attention than someone not related to FF Coppola would, for example, she's really under the microscope for what she does do...and Lost in Translation is just great (I loved The Virgin Suicides too but I can see why some people might not). I met her once and spoke to her for about 40 mins - she didn't have even the slightest bit of attitude. Cool as anything, and just so...stylish. *sigh*

I felt really sad when she and Spike broke up...they seemed like a magical couple to me. They're proof that nobody has a *perfect* life.

You know, Sofia Coppola I really don't know about her style. Sometimes she looks like she doesn't care (I mean really doesn't care how she looks). I know that we shouldnt look "too made up" but she could really use some "fresh air" in her wardrobe. But on other occassions she looks nice. So I have mixed feelings about her style.

she used to always wear a diamond pendant cut as a star, now she seems to always weart one cut as a heart. I like that

The star pendent was marc jacobs circa 1996. Really cute. I haven't seen the heart one yet.

Unfortunately I can't see hardly any of these photos. Do they work for others.
I can only see the ones with QT!!

I really loved her and then I went off her and now I am starting to like her again ( I think ) I think I need to get someone to help me! although the dig on Cameron Diaz was below the belt , she seemed nice then went b*tch and now seems quite nice again. I can't figure her out.
