With the arrival of new artistic director Geraldo da Conceicao on the horizon, the in-house design team looked no further than founder Sonia Rykiel and the wardrobe essentials she favored for its pre-fall story. Easy to wear was the goal, thus lush but lightweight knitted fur coats were shown alongside boyishly cut cashmere flannel suiting and knits in varying weights. Embellishment was kept to a minimum, sprinkled across the neckline of a viscose gown or delivered as a single jeweled button on silk blouses.
