Sophie Ward

I think she's really talented, I love her writing. She's so passionate and enthusiastic that it's hard not to feel inspired after reading her work.

I couldn't agree more, I've been following her blog since last September/October and keep being amazed by her as a person, I really hope she fulfills all her dreams.

Here is the link to Sophie's interview on Today Tonight.
I'm pleased she's in a happier and healthier mindset now.

It's interesting Sophie is very media friendly (her wedding pictures and the TT interview) while her sister has been so private since she left the industry. I understand they are different people but it's still strange considering people are destined to ask about her sister.

^Gemma was a world FAMOUS iconic supermodel publicly humiliated & betrayed so it's understandable why she'd be more media shy whereas Sophie was... um:ninja:

Which brings me to my questions which i don't mean to sound like i'm throwing shade or sounding bitchy & condescending when i'm really not trying to be but since when was Sophie "at the top of her profession" or "a famed model celebrated by the fashion world"?? And when did she walk shows in london & paris:ermm:??

i'm legitimately asking cuz this sounds more like Gemma's story more than hers:innocent:. not to minimize or say she didn't go through what she said she did:doh:

^^^ How was Gemma "betrayed"? I don't understand when people say that. Her job was to look a certain way and she didn't follow that. The end. She was given warnings and had been in the industry for years so it was no surprise. If a designer brings out a bad collection the media says so yet no one says they are betrayed or publicly humiliated. How is her situation any different? Was the industry supposed to make exceptions for her? The industry has been operating far longer than the 5 years she was modelling.

As for Sophie, when I heard TT say those lines I interpreted it to mean 'when she was at the peak of her career' rather than 'the peak the industry allows'. But, when I read it I interpret it the same way as you - 'the peak the industry allows'.
Exaggeration makes it better despite how misleading it is unfortunately.

Sophie is 16 weeks pregnant.

Looking back now, it's funny that this industry is now more open to body types.
