nah I remeber clearly she won the 'face of forrest chase' way before gems fame, cause it was a big thing at school that we had a model who was basically gonna be the 'face of our city'.
That family portrait just shows you how small perth is, the photographer 'fisherstudio' is actually the father of a boy that went to school with gemma and I. Ohhhhh I love Perth!
From the pictures I've seen of Sophie, I would have to say I prefer Gemma. Though Sophie can definitely pass as a model in her own right, I think Gemma has really grown on me in the time she's been a model, and especially with all her exposure and fame, I just like Gemma more; her look, her uniqueness, and her versatility. Maybe if I see more of her sister, she'll also grow on me, but in the meantime, it's Gemma for me.

I find her writing the most beautiful I have ever read...it hits a raw nerve......very raw same with the other article I've read of hers.

I knew Gemma has a sister called Sophie, and I know she is taller than Gemma,
but I never know she is a model as well till 10mins ago when I was watching the models talk on FTV.
So here you are some details of Sophie if you like to know.

How did you entry the modeling career?
My sister went to a compatition in perth, me and my mum went to pick her up.
Then the judges saw me and asked me why I didn't join the compatition,
and when they sign my sister up as a model, they said to me that "We wanted to sign you up as well."
What you like and what you like to become?
I like cooking, writting ad join the parties. I hope I can be a writter in five years time because I love writting.

Sophie was modelling without a portfolio/ comp cards with an agency called Carberry's (I think it's changed to Chadwicks now) before she was signed to Viviens. Until Viviens signed her up (after the Search for a Supermodel heat where she was in the audience watching Gemma) she hadn't really broken into the modelling scene very much.. i guess she was finishing school and modelling wasn't such a big deal before Search for a Supermodel.
The 'face of perth' comp was just after she was signed with Viviens. She was doing TEE exams pretty soon after all that I think, so it was a pretty slow start for her. Good on her I say! She's always been so studious..
