I was a little undecided about the whole spat thing, but a few of the pictures in this thread have made me a believer!

You can get custom made spats on Etsy.com - I got a pair made in a soft dusty pink. They are pretty amazing, but I can't wear them to work and I'm having a bit of trouble deciding what else to wear them with.

Kept trying to buy the MM sandals (they went on sale at Aloha Rag for $357), but couldn't find my color or size.

As a result, got impatient and slaughtered a pair of dressy black boots to make my own. Details on the DIY in my blog...and Punky...I have to give you another shoutout in case you didn't see my note in the WAYWT thread. xoxo

another great and easy way to make these is with slim jeans

i just made mine in 5 mns.
get an old pair of black slim jeans, cut the bottom

the bottom hem goes at the ankle and and the top hem wraps around the shoe!!!!

and voila!!!!
