" Spice Up " Plain Boring Black

Hi everyone,going to this massive party on saturday.
I wanna wear this black dress but i need to " spice it up " a bit so
it doesn't look so boring.
I was thinking maybe a flower in my hair ?
Or can u give me some advice?

is it gold embroidery? then go for simple gold jewellery . . bangles / chandelier earring / gold cuffs . . no necklace

oh i love doing that!
i like making an all black wardrobe more interesting by little splashes of color here and there... it really depends on what it is i'm wearing though.
sometimes i'll use a bag in a loud color, or a belt, or shoes

i totally agree w/nuiko add something in a bold color . .
i think something emerald green would look gorgeous . . or hot pink . . white.
an emerald green clutch would look fab.
what color shoes are you wearing? maybe instead of silver shoes try bright neon colors . . . mix it up.

Bold colours...but do i wear like in bold colours ?
Here are my shoes...is a bit dark in the room,but u can see
marilyn monroes face popping up

i know you said you had your jewelry already, but i think that nothing stands out as crisply and uniquely as bold jewelry. yes, still have unexpected clutch or statement shoe, but if you put a colorful brooch (be it real or costume) and pin it somewhere like the back of the shoulder or mid-thigh, it totally changes the balance of the outfit.
