Stacy London - Stylist

I LOVE this show! I watch it all the time...there is actually going to be a marathon on this week. Stacy always looks great, but R.I.P. the grey streak

i love stacey and clinton. i like their fashion ideas for the everyday person. Plus Carmendy and Nick are great too!

everyone on that show is so suburban. And they use such cheap cookie-cutter clothes ... perhaps i didn't catch the good episodes but what i saw was very mediocre, imho.

The show = awesome. I like the way she talks about fashion as if she was still a sixteen year old memorizing the stuff from Vogue. She has enthusiasm. Her and Clinton have perfect chemistry. I'd like to know what they used to do ebfore the show though.

Does anyone watch her new show Fashionably Late? On the show, she was trying to dress Kelly Carlson from Nip/Tuck, so it made me wonder if Stacy ever styles any celebs.

Despite my aspirations to be a fashion stylist, I think there is something innately wrong with encroaching on one's personal, everyday style and telling someone exactly how to dress. I don't agree with "do's" and "dont's" in general. I think her fashion sense is very manufactured and dull.

^ As much as I love watching WNTW, I have noticed that they force the same style on everyone. The good part of the show is that they do try to teach people about fit and about what cuts fit their body types.

I was looking at Clinton's site the other day and he answered this question: Are you and Stacy romantic? His answer was: Yes. But not with each other.

Love her on WNTW, but her talk show is horrible. I feel like she's not herself and the asskissing small talk with celebs is nauseating.

^ I know - the previews alone turn me off. It looks terrible!

I love watching WNTW too...it's my guilty pleasure ;)
Despite it being pretty formulaic, it's always fun to see people walking away from the show better-dressed and with more confidence.
Not such a fan of Fashionably Late though, Stacy doesn't seem to have found her niche yet and it's weird to see her without Clinton.
But I'll love to be in the audience with all the give-aways that they are doing.

So would I! But do you get the impression that her audience is not into fashion? I seriously think they just pull people off the streets and maybe do not have a demand for tickets yet. I mean, Stacy just gave one audience member a Kooba bag because her other bag was ugly, but she reacted as though Stacy gave her a bag from K-Mart. I really don't think the girl knew what it was at all. She just hands her audience members the coolest shoes and accessories...and did you see her wall of shoes on the set? I'd loooove to have a wall of shoes! :p

^Well, her audience is not into fashion the way everyone is on TFS ;)
I wouldn't be surprised if there's a demand for her tickets now.. but yea, the wall of shoes is unbeatable!
