Starbucks coffee??

well they say it takes 45 mins for coffee to kick in so if u time it enough you may never have to come down from you good mood hehe but its probably not the healtiest

When I was living in Spain I was starbucks addicted but their beverages are so damn iper caloric!!! Here in italy it doesn't exist, our country it's not even included in the expansion plan, nobody would never pay 4 euros for a coffe!!

I don't drink calories, and feel stupid carrying around a $3.50 cup of plain coffee which does indeed have a chemically aftertaste. Dunking Donuts ALL THE WAY!

Personally I don't think Starbucks has the best coffee but when I'm in the mood for comfort food ,I'll get a latte, macchiatto or mocha. My FAVORITE coffee in the whole wide world is Tim Hortons (which is a Canadian chain for those who are wondering)

I've only had starbucks once in my life, and it wasn't even coffee. It was hot chocolate, and I seriously think that they forgot to put the chocolate in...:yuk:

I prefer my small town Three Beans. :woot::D

I agree that a lot of people that drink Starbucks are complete posers. I just can't believe the prices sometimes. When I'm in their ordering I think '£2.70 for a coffee, that's reasonable' until I get outside and realise I just spent near enough 3 quid on a drink! You could get a whole meal for that at McDonalds!

I used to work at starbucks and we were taught to put the lid on such a way that the starbucks symbol would be facing outwards, this way everyone could see what brand of coffee the person was drinking. Starbucks wants its coffees to become a status symbol/accessory.

i hate the way most people think in this society. teenager = obnoxious troublemaker. starbucks customer = fake trend following sheep. i have to admit, i have seen some people be all like 'cool' while ordering, but there are people that actually like it. like, a businesswoman doesnt go to starbucks just because some famous teenager made it famous. they go there because they need their caffeine quick and close to home. in the two houses that i lived in, it was a coincidence that the closes coffee shop was starbucks, and i certainly dont go there because of some dumb trend.
EDIT: Haha, i just noticed the reference to starbucks in my sig. i actually like them, especially the cookies and cheesecake. and like someone said, it actually does have a weird chemical aftertaste, and sometimes the drink isnt strong enough at all.

Sorry, not a coincidence! They put those Starbucks there for a reason. ;)

I love Starbucks, but I agree it has like a cool status attachment to it, I can think of other places that make nice hot drinks but I'd more likely throw the cup away quicker instead of slowly sipping and posing!

I don't have a problem with Starbucks, and I get my coffee there some of the time, but I can see where the whole 'Starbucks is an accessory' issue comes from. All these celebrities (a la the Olsens) carrying Starbucks around only fuels the whole phenomena.

For me, coffee is coffee. Yes, I'm one of those college kids running to class with a 20 ounce cup of coffee in my hands (and it's usually school coffee), but it's routine for me.

i went starbucks coffee and ordered the caramel frappuccino at the end of last year and i got realli sick after it..:yuk:
so i've been trying to stay away from them ever since..:(

In the past year I am IN-LOVE with Coffee Beanery. They're stuff is WAY yummier than starbucks!! And the brand of tea, Republic or whatever, is WAY better than Tazo. Plus they have food too. They are fewer locations, but light years ahead of STarbucks in quality, taste, and customer service (sometimes STarbucks employees can be b*tches).

Agree, I used to get the hookup at the Coffee Beanery back in MD and I tried everything they have (it was free!) I loved most of it, the teas, coffees, cakes, everything is so much more...less processed than Starbucks.

I calculated it the other day, my sister has two coffees a day, at about $4 each, that's $8 a day, or $56 a week or $2912 a yearON COFFEE, which only makes your teeth brown...Oye, I dont get it either, her drink is absolutely disgusting...
